Accessibility statement
We want every corporate buyer, bid writer and ESG lead to be able to use this site, whatever tools they browse with.
The standard we work to
We aim to meet WCAG 2.2 level AA. Pages use semantic headings, visible focus states, keyboard-operable tools, and text that can be selected and copied rather than locked inside images.
What we have built in
- Colour and contrast. The site supports a light and dark theme, chosen from the sun/moon button in the header. Your preference is remembered for your next visit. Text and interactive elements generally meet AA contrast ratios in both themes.
- Keyboard navigation. You can move through pages and open dropdowns, dialogs and mobile menus without a mouse. Focus indicators are visible on links, buttons and form fields.
- Page structure. Each page has one main landmark, descriptive page titles, and a breadcrumb trail under the hero so you always know where you are.
- Screen-reader friendly components.Buttons with icons carry labels, tables use proper headers, and status messages are conveyed with appropriate ARIA roles.
- Responsive layout. Content reflows down to small screens without horizontal scrolling, and tap targets are sized for touch.
Known limitations
We are not aware of any persistent accessibility barriers at this time. Wide data tables in staff admin pages scroll horizontally on small screens so content remains readable, and all published images carry descriptive text alternatives. If you spot something we have missed, please tell us.
Reporting a barrier
If something stops you using this site, email accessibility@bestcsr.co.uk describing the page and what happened. We aim to reply within five working days and can provide the same content in another format.
Enforcement procedure
If you are unhappy with our response, you can raise a complaint with the Equality and Human Rights Commission (EHRC) through its website.
