We are open about where automation is used on this site, and about the limits of what it can tell you.
Estimator tool
The social value ROI estimator uses a fixed, automated statistical model. It applies the same published multipliers to the figures you enter. It produces an indicative estimate only, not a decision about you or your organisation, and it does not learn from or profile your inputs.
Readiness check
The readiness check scores nine yes or no answers and places you in a band. The bands are guidance for a conversation, not an assessment of your organisation's compliance.
No automated decisions
We do not use automation to make any decision that produces a legal or similarly significant effect about an individual. Nothing on this site decides eligibility, pricing, employment or access to a service on its own.
Human review
You can request a human review of any tool output, or ask us how a figure was calculated, at any time. Email socialvalue@bestcsr.co.uk or book a consultation.
Data used by the tools
The figures and answers you enter are only stored if you choose to submit them with your contact details. See our data protection and your rights page for retention and deletion.
