Modern Slavery Statement
Best CSR Ltd has zero tolerance for modern slavery and human trafficking in its own operations and in the delivery partners it works with.
Status of this statement
Best CSR Ltd is below the turnover threshold at which section 54 of the Modern Slavery Act 2015 requires a statement. We publish this voluntarily so clients and public sector buyers can see our position during due diligence.
Our organisation and supply chain
Best CSR Ltd is a company registered in England and Wales that designs and delivers corporate social value programmes, including the 1001 Entrepreneurs training programme. Our supply chain is short: training and facilitation associates, venues, and professional and software services. We do not manufacture goods and we do not use labour agencies for low-paid or temporary work.
Our commitments
- Everyone who works with us does so under a clear written agreement.
- Nobody pays a fee to work with us or to join one of our programmes.
- Programme participants are never asked to provide unpaid labour.
- We pay associates and suppliers on agreed terms.
Due diligence
Before engagement, delivery partners are asked to confirm their own compliance with the Modern Slavery Act 2015 and to tell us how they check their own suppliers. Where a partner cannot give that assurance, we do not proceed. We review this approach annually.
Training and awareness
Directors and associates are briefed on the indicators of forced labour and exploitation that could arise in training, venue and volunteering settings, and on how to raise a concern.
Reporting a concern
Anyone with a concern about our operations or our partners can email socialvalue@bestcsr.co.uk in confidence. Concerns are reviewed by a director, and nobody is penalised for raising one in good faith. Where there is an immediate risk to someone’s safety, contact the police on 999 or the Modern Slavery Helpline on 08000 121 700.
